First, a very big thank you for the favourites, group posts, Llama badges, watches and comments on my images; I really appreciate your support.
I haven't had my account for very long, but I have found Deviant Artists to be an amazing community, that shows massive support for each other and their work.
I would also like to add, please don't feel obliged to thank me every time you post new images, that I have favourited, or commented on, it can be time consuming - that time could be spent taking more awesome photographs, or adding the final touches to that amazing drawing.
Unless you want to of course!

Something New
I want to expand my painting skills; try and paint something out of my comfort zone. I usually draw and paint birds (which I love) but my skills are not improving in other areas.
I've tried painting fur a few times, but never like the results.
I am going to do a little more fur study and knock up a few pictures, make loads of mistakes, then hopefully I will have at least one painting I like.
Sad news
I've been away for a while, and there's been a few reasons why.
My favourite auntie had a fall, where she was take to hospital - just before her 89th birthday. She later found out she had terminal cancer, and was given four weeks to live. My auntie wanted to spend her last weeks at home, and to be able to die at home.
My auntie was like a second mother to me, so I spent as much time with her as I could.
She never once complained that she was in pain - she only took one morphine tablet, just before she died.
My last visit with her was a couple of hours before she died - where I held her hand, and said goodbye; my mum was with her when she
Noob
I'm a bit new to this, but I'm slowly finding my way.
If anyone wants to share any pointers, that would be very much appreciated.
I just want to say, "thank you" to everyone who has added my art to their favourite; and "thank you" for all the funky llamas.
Looking at all the art posted here, I feel inspired to complete the art I have yet to finish.
